I can’t say enough good things about Rasuwa Treks, I highly recommend this company. I emailed Gagan, the executive director, about trekking for 5 days in the Annapurna Conservation Area once I arrived in Nepal from the US. My friend and I had wanted to see beautiful views of the Himalayas and avoid crowds of tourists. We were able chat back and forth with Gagan about the Khopra Ridge trek and whether that would be a good fit for us. We enthusiastically booked with his company after price comparing trek packages between other companies and Rasuwa (bonus points for Rasuwa compared to other companies: better price, providing sleeping bags, duffel bags and big puffy jackets, as well as accommodation in Pokhara before and after the trek). All of our communication with Gagan was clear, concise and professional. We were provided with a detailed itinerary and Gagan reviewed the trek plan with us in person. He also introduced to our guide and porter prior to leaving for the trek. I also can’t say enough good things about our guide, Buddha. He was knowledgeable, professional and motivating during our 5 day trek. We took a route that is not super popular among trekkers, and many guides along the way weren’t familiar with the route. Buddha not only knew the route but was giving advice to other guides. He somehow knew the perfect pace for us to keep and kept our spirits when the miles and altitude got to us. As two females trekking, we felt safe and confident with Buddha and our porter. I know I will come back to Nepal someday and will definitely be contacting Rasuwa treks for my next trip
