Annapurna region is one of the picturesque zones in Nepal, located in the north west of Nepal. It is surrounded by the lush woods of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). Trekking in the Annapurna region offers the dazzling views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and the Manaslu Himalayan ranges. Trekking in Annapurna is classified into three categories. The easy trekking includes the lower altitude treks (Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, the Royal Trek), the moderate treks include Annapurna base camp trek, Mardi Himal Trek, Khayer Lake Trek and so on. The Challenging or adventurous treks include the Thorong La Pass Trek and Tilicho Lake Mesokanto La Pass.
