Clients’ safety is our top priority. The welfare of our staff and porters is no less important; they are fully insured and well equipped with the necessary gear for all kinds of climate conditions and terrain.
We are an Eco-Friendly and Eco-Trekking Travel/Trekking agency. All our guides and staff are very well versed regarding this subject, thus all meals are cooked using kerosene fuel or gas. To help preserve the beauty of nature and its environment from destruction, we do not use firewood as fuel.

With over two decades experience throughout the Himalayas, Rasuwa Treks offers you some of the most comprehensive and professionally operated tours available. We pride ourselves on providing a choice of journeys to suit all tastes, from the most adventurous at heart to those simply wishing to relax amongst the mountains and jungles of one of the world’s most exotic locations.
As director of Rasuwa Treks, I have been involved in the trekking and travel industry since 1976. From my humble beginnings as a 14-year-old porter from the remote district of Rasuwa just north of Kathmandu, I have now led and organised over 350 treks in Nepal alone. I have worked with some of the most highly regarded travel companies throughout the world. For the last 13 years, I have been running my own operations. Still, to this day nothing gives me more pleasure than trekking in my homeland and introducing my guests to the joys of some of the most beautiful and friendly places on earth.
Rasuwa Treks is also deeply committed to the social welfare and development of our people in Nepal. In the last 10 years, we have helped to initiate a number of community assistance projects, ranging from building schools, providing scholarships and school supplies, to placing overseas professionals in schools and hospitals throughout my home district of Rasuwa. We are always ready to assist interested guests to help in the development of Nepal through our projects.
