This tour is one of the best tourist destinations for those who are relatively looking for easy, short and family trekking with children. Balthali village is situated just beyond to Panauti about 40 km away from Kathmandu . It offers a sun rise in the east, speculating Himalayan range from Manaslu to Mt. Everest in the north, innumerable rice terraces in the west and the huge bodied green forest of Mahabharat range in the south. One of the most important factors of this spot is that it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The area of Balthali is cover of various flora, colorful rhododendron forest, magnolia and Sal trees. Balthali village is a perfect place for nature lovers and bird watchers.   


Namo Buddha which is famous Buddhist pilgrimage site. Rows of Buddhist stupas adorned with fluttering flags are there at the pilgrimage. Yet what draws their attention is an image of Lord Buddha is his compassionate manifestation. The carved stone image portrays a popular legend, which related that Lord Buddha in his previous incarnation had offered his own flesh to save a starving tigress and her cubs from imminent death

Day 1. Arrival in Kathmandu

It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day. The views of snow-capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time. Our representative and driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.

Day 2. Balthali village resort

Drive to Kopasee after breakfast – about 2 hours. Kopasee is a small Newari village where we will Commence our short trek to Balthali resort. After gradual walk we come across a suspension bridge and we climb gradual uphill towards Balthali resort. The walk takes about 2 hours slow pace. The small village is habituated by different ethnic tribes namely, Newari, Brahmins, and Tamangs. They all live in harmony. We arrive Balthali at lunch time and we stay there for the Night. After lunch we do small village culture tour. Mahabharat range can also be seen from towards the south.

Day 3. Namo Buddha

After breakfast next morning crossing the bridge we walk uphill towards the Monastery called Namo Buddha, which is a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site. We spend two nights here at Kano dada resort in Kavre.

Day 4. Namo Buddha

After breakfast tour of Namo Buddha Monastery – touring time - between 2 to 3 hours. After lunch explore village – 2 to 3 hours

Day 5. Trek to Dhulikhel - 4 to 5 hours

The trail is all gradual downhill to Dhulikhel Resort. Magificient Himalayan range view. In the afternoon one can go for bird watching and village Walk.

Day 6. Explore Bhaktapur durbar square

. Visit World’s tallest Hindu Shiva Temple on the way to Bhaktapur. Sight seeing and lunch In Bhaktapur. Drive back to Kathmandu

Day 7. Leisure in Kathmandu

You can visit Kathmandu Durbar Square by taking a Ricksaw ride through the small alleys of Kathmandu. It is worth a ride.

Day 8. Departure Kathmandu
